The largest free-flying American Flag was unfurled again on the George Washington Bridge today for several hours. It is 90 feet by 60 feet and weighs 450 pounds. The sight of it hanging at this gateway to New York City made my heart soar.
In memory of the professional men and women who served this country and in honor of those still serving today. Happy Memorial Day.
